I'll start off with the bad news...My beloved Law & Order was abruptly cancelled after 20 glorious seasons filled with Lennie Briscoe's witty/inappropriate one-liners, Jack McCoy's legal pitbulling, and that one annoying ADA who got shoved in a trunk. I will miss you, Law & Order. God, how I'll miss you.

Anyhoo...We kicked May off by completely revamping the back room at Off the Map, the room the amazing Chloe Vanessa and I share. Painting a room is hard and I hate doing it. Fact. But it came out awesome and the room feels even more like home now.

Then, we had a couple guys stop in by the names of Bob Tyrrell and Shane O'neill! Getting to hang out with them was a blast, even if I now owe Mr. Tyrrell a Baconator. I also got to go to their black and grey seminar which was awesome and super informative. We also had Scotty Munster as a guest and I was lucky enough to get tattooed by him!

All of it topped off by HELL CITY! Chloe Vanessa, Ben Reigle and I roadtripped out to Columbus, OH to attend one hell of a convention. (I wasn't trying to be cute by saying "one hell of", it's just an appropriate way to describe the show and I'll be damned if I change my wording to avoid puns! (I was being cute with that little "I'll be damned" part though. Ah, we have fun.)) This was my first Hell City and I absolutely loved it! I got to meet and hang out with a ton of artists I admire, spend time with my amazing friends and watch some incredible art being made. Also Ben, Chloe, George Perham and I teamed up with Dominic Cooper from Toledo to take part in the Art Fusion project. 5 artists on 5 easels, and every two minutes you rotate. It takes 2 hours, and you're left with 5 pieces of art that you had no idea were going to include that many vaginas. But still, they came out great and it was wicked fun. I can't wait for Hell City Phoenix!

I could go on, but I won't. I will say that I have some insanely exciting things lined up for the nest few weeks! I still have a few days open in June, so stop by and grab yourself a shiny new tattoo.
